TOPIC | A beastclan Shop?
So I had a vague idea, and I was wondering what people thought of it.

I would like to see more friendly beastclan, and I wouldn't mind seeing a Beastclan Shop in the trading post.

My idea was that there would be something like a bounty system, and the shop itself would work similar to the Prismatic Tokens at Joxxar's Festive Favors. Where each day/week, a random non-boss enemy is chosen and will drop tokens. The shop tells you which enemy it is, and when you gather enough tokens, you can then spend them on replica beastclan apparel. Things like the different armor/weapons that the assorted beastclans use.

I'm not sure if its a good idea, or if it needs some adjusting. Maybe it makes more sense for it to be a single enemy, but this enemy changes venues every so often. I also don't know if the time makes sense, since maybe it could be something like a limited time sale. Like the enemy is only there for an hour before switching venues or switching enemies.

I think it wouldn't necessarily have to drop tokens, if the site has any way of tracking the number of mobs you defeat directly. The tokens would add person-specific drops (that could probably be sold or hoarded for Next Time) and potentially a second layer of RNG to it all. I like the single venue-moving enemy idea.

I like the basics of this concept. But I would prefer it not to be Coli-heavy, since so much is dependent on the Coli already. Maybe it could be tied to adventure mode instead (which I hope we get one day), so players would have to farm adventure mode, if possible, for the items to turn in to the beastclan shop? With the method of acquiring items being distinct enough from how we get items for Swipp (and Baldwin and Crim).

[/quote] Ah, good point. Hmm... For another site I play on, occasionally there will be multi-day, multi-part events, and one part of those is often finding a character/creature somewhere on the site. It would be in the same place for every person, so those who don't want to page through everything could get help from the forums, but for those who wanted to, they would have to search through various subregions of the site to find the character. Maybe it would be possible to do an event like that?

Ah, good point.
Hmm... For another site I play on, occasionally there will be multi-day, multi-part events, and one part of those is often finding a character/creature somewhere on the site. It would be in the same place for every person, so those who don't want to page through everything could get help from the forums, but for those who wanted to, they would have to search through various subregions of the site to find the character. Maybe it would be possible to do an event like that?
