[columns]I was coli-ing when it occurred to me that we should, in fact, eventually get a Lightning farm venue situated in Lightning territory and an Oil Refinery venue situated in the Abiding Boneyard with some Mad Max-vibe enemies.
In canon, Lightning residents tend to harvest electricity from lightning, some beautiful desert scenery with giant mechanical structures in the background would be honestly such nice aesthetics! Some fitting enemies would be Harpy scavengers, more Fuiran, lizards such as thorned devils and agamas, vultures, Centaur scrappers, living dust devils, strange electrified orbs that look alien-like and big wired bosses.[/columns]

[columns]The Plague's Oil Refinery could easily have the Mad Max vibe. A harsh wasteland with reddish soil, rich with iron. Enormous boney but vital structures sticking out of the landscape and their roots resembling guts spreading through the ground to find fertile deposits. Heavy machinery and pumps in the background. I think Painted Serthis warriors, mutated feral lizards, insane Talonok mechanics, murderous steampunk-ish golems that have V8 engines, sentient oil enemies, fata morgana mimics and huge, rusty, mechanical crane-like bosses would be real nice enemies.[/columns]

And those followed by some nice apocalypse-themed and tattered apparel sets including gas masks because people want that. Tattered hoods and mantles, mechanical limb extensions/armour, gas masks, goggles, a bag with tools, barbed wire for wings and engine parts for chest guards with exhaust pipes sticking out, bone armour...
It would be especially cool if it was lightning and plague themed! To add to the whole electric wasteland vibe

Amazing idea which I would love to see done and added since that's pretty much exactly what Mad Max was about. Panic, lack of humanity, technology, health hazards and oil-depleted chaos.
This would be an excellent way to bring in the technician and cyborg, futuristic, mechanical, laser-sword, etc. types of apparel people have been begging for. Prosthetics for Wyrmwound-eaten limbs, cybernetic eye replacements, glowing implants, electric tail-spike weapons, masks YES, dripping oil apparel for wings, welder's torches...

Excellent addition to the pile, I'd kill for welder's torches, oil, prostethics and eye-replacements. All of these are fantastic suggestions and would love to see implemented one day. Imagine the lore potential.

As WyvernVenom suggested:
Goannas would be cool. So would thorny dragons.

YES TO BOTH! Some mutated thorny lizards would fit in perfectly.

I completely agree, I would love to see some sentient dust devils and smol tornadoes.
Edit: Had to change this a bit because I had some realisations. The Lightning Farm venues and the Oil Refinery should be separated. Many people want a Plague themed venue and the Oil Refinery in a red, desert landscape with bone-y and metallic structures would be fantastic.

I'm so glad you think so! I realised we needed a rocky desert-like venue with mechanical parts because as far as I know, the only truly Lightning-vibed venue is the Golem Workshop. I DEMAND MORE.
Also, the lack of apparel meant for technicians is...disturbing.

Support! Perhaps mix in more desert-themed things, but North American instead of Saharan. Rattlesnakes, hawks, jackalopes, roadrunners. Perhaps the boss could be a thunderbird? It'd fit the lightning farm.

THUNDERBIRDS YES. And more snakes, hawks and eagles, yass. Cacti with oddly-shaped, poisonously bright flowers, strange yucca-like plants with eyes, burrowing lizards....

Those are all amazing ideas! I actually had some prosthetic limbs in mind which is definitely something I would love to see. I don't wanna buy an accent which will give my dragon a fake arm or leg and then make it covered by apparel. I want the limb to be apparel on its own.
Regarding those extra futuristic apparel, I'm not so sure how it would work in lore since the last Q&A was updated with:
Quote:
R-robots? *cough* I think you mean golems. Which are like a totally different thing.
There are no computers or AI at this time. Most of the technology could be compared to the electricity, steam, and machine innovations created through the 1920's but given a distinctly fantasy/Sornieth bent.
Don't get me wrong, I desperately want futuristic equipment such as circuitry, space armour, gauntlets, big cybernetic pauldrons, chest guards, shocker weapons, etc, but it could work as long as it's adjusted to the lore. I mean, we have Sentinel Miths with badbutt tech armour, let our dragons wear that too!!!

I was originally thinking about something more like an Australian desert since it's a completely different vibe, and we have something similar to the American Grand Canyon - the Harpy's Roost. But I really wouldn't mind if we got something similar as aNOTHER venue, situated in Dragonhome. That would definitely fit Dragonhome more.
But YES FOR THUNDERBIRDS!! Thunder parrots? Either thunder-budgies or cockatoos since they're native to Australia.
