TOPIC | Pie Competition
1 2
A competition in which we can throw an item (pie, cake slice, a dead fish) at a player at random. If the hit lands they get a special gift(apparel, familiar, scrolls, skins, a retired item(maybe), or a one of a kind dragon made by the artists) and the one who threw the item gets a token, not the Prismatic token, to use. Like to exchange for gold or gems. If we miss both sides get nothing.

That sounds plain rude? Why would you throw things at random people - even if its not real.. The sentimant is highly questionable.

Also why would the people getting hit with a dead fish get anything? Why would you get a token?

No support for an event or competition like that.

If our dragons enter any competitions that should be entered by both sides (no harassing random people for points) and should involve some semblence of effort (this here sounds like a 'hit a button' game.. So no effort = no price). It also should make some sense. Like the "token for doing whatever you have to do" part is good. As it is something that is usually fiven out at fairgrounds to be collected and traded in later. That a hat pops magically into existence because someone you don't know hits you in the face with an onbject makes no sense on the other hand.

Wait, what?

Why?

Where?

When?

Again, WHY?

I'm sorry if my comment came off as rude. I am currently playing another game similar to this one where they are holding a game like that right now and I thought it would be fun to play here.
No your dragons will not have to enter. These are the rules for the game on the other site:
Until 2018-06-10 14:59:59, gather the Milky Way pie by clicking on the banner which appears every 15 minutes on site.
Go to the game page and click on the "Register" if you haven't already done so.
Once you register, click on the "Throw" button to begin the battle with the other members : click on the name of a member to throw a Milky Way pie at him.
If the Milky Way pie hit its target, you win 1 Moon Stone and the person who has been hit by the Milky Way pie receive a gift from you.
If you are hit by a Milky Way pie, you then receive a gift.
Moon Stone will allow you to gain the Exclusive creatures

I didn't mean to sound rude but I did think might be fun to play here. As for the fish I wanted to put more options other than just a pie.
Is this a bit more clearer?

Gothicat world.

Anyway, I like the pie activity over there, but I can't see it work here without tweaks. Over there in gothicat a player is a collector of pets; here in FR player is the collective mind of your lair, ie, there's no player person to begin with. So you'll have to register a dragon for this. Also the frustration in Gothicat that I experience is that not everyone has time to sit there and click a banner every 15 mins for a pie that may or may not hit. I have no objection to this game over there, but I don't think we need same games in all pet sites. Maybe think up a variation of the game or something completely different?

The game is pretty frustrating but cute.
I don't want to copy that game but you are right. Waiting 15 minutes is dumb.

I like it. It reminds me of LioDen , where you can poop in a players Den anonymously.
Its all about the fun part and stuff. And the other player also might profit off it.

Please, no.

I play on another site that tried to do this for a Halloween thing and that event was cursed. You got alerts every time a player tricked/treated you and you had to click on them to make them go away. You needed to keep up with the activity and yes, you did get "tokens" that allowed you to make purchases.

The active player base was roughly 1/20 to 1/10 the size and I could get 40 alerts an hour.

As for the positive/negative effects people complained for days that people were tricking instead of treating. Blocking was commonplace and the on-site comments were terrible. I can only imagine what the offsite and unmoderated comments were like. The cultural norms of trick or treat for the site's country were completely incomprehensible for many other countries plus tone doesn't always carry well in text.

I want to live in Theory. Everything works there.

Have you checked the Gem MP for Gene and Breed scrolls before buying an AH listing from me ending in 5g?
