TOPIC | Never fear! wonder soap is here!
So I was thinking, what if there was a way to change the looks of your dragon?
Why can't we change the eye type, genes, and coloring of your dragon all with one item?
Well, never fear! Wonder Soap [tm] is here! [or shud be]
Wonder Soap [tm] will change the dragon's genes eye type and coloring. it will not change the color of the eyes, just the type. This is all completely random, so no dragon customization. sorry, not sorry. if anyone could tell me how to get the add I made in word, I will be grateful.

The use case for this seems incredibly small. It would also have to be very expensive (or extremely expensive if it includes gem genes) and given that natural eye types are intended to be breeding only apart from a retired item, would only include unnatural eye types... Of which there's only one at the moment.

As soon as you got one or two things you liked, you'd stop and use the normal scrolls - and given that what genes work is entirely dependant on colour, you're unlikely to keep the random genes it assigns. Heck, unless a dragon is unrebreedable (low digits, commemorative id, progen) it's always going to be easier and currier to just buy or breed something better.

This is what the scrying workshop is for - and hopefully they'll one day add the ability to lock and randomise particular aspects of a dragon.

I'm afraid I don't understand what the last bit is asking.

I don't really see that we need this.

We have a tri-color scroll that will change the colors of the dragon randomly.

We have specific scrolls to change the genes, though we don't have a random gene changer. I also don't support one because I feel it would have to exclude any non-MP genes.

We don't have a random breed changer, but we do have scrolls for nearly all breeds (all but one in fact), and I also don't support one, as Imperials would have to be excluded and I feel any non-MP dragon as well.

We do not have a way, other than a retired item, to change eye variant, though I DO support some way of doing so, whether it is a random item like the scattervial or specific eye variant vials.

As Vendrus said, I don't really see how this would be used by enough people to make it worth it to code. It would need to be expensive, because genes and breed change scrolls from the MP act as either a treasure sink, or a source of income for the site, and I don't think that either one needs to be negated. There would need to be several genes and breeds excluded from this as they aren't obtained through the MP and one of the breed scrolls is retired.
