TOPIC | Change "Dragon" to "Adult&
As we all know, dragons have two stages of life: hatchling and... dragon. That doesn't make much sense, it's like saying Child and Human.

I think that the Dragon life stage should be changed to Adult, Grown, or something else more indicative of the actual status being shown.

Edited to fix the title thanks BBCode
Edited because I can't fix the title oh well

I don't actually see a reason for this? Except renaming something for the sake of personal taste. Like, I get your argumentation, but its a game, it doesn't have to be 100% accurate. Skyrim for example called them 'Dragons' too and only distincted between 'Elder Dragon' or 'Ancient Dragon'.

I honestly prefer Dragon over Adult. Sounds better for me and since I spent more time looking at 'Adults' I will say no support.

I don't feel very strongly about it either way, but every time I am in the scrying workshop/auction house I am like "huh, that is pretty weird, hatchling/adult would make more sense" xD

So I think deep down part of me would like this

Dragon has a better ring to this but it would make more sense, I think the staff should change it to something besides dragon, but maybe not adult.

We do this in RL too, no? People...kids.... We don't say 'adult people' and 'kids'. I guess its like always when you use an adjective to describe a thing without naming the thing: "Which do you want?" "The red/small/fluffy" - You don't specify it closer since there is no need.

Dragons are the 'standart' and hatchlings the times exeption. So it makes more sense to put an emphasis on the thing that is the exeption (in this case a lower usefulness).

[/quote] I was thinking of this as well. Kitten and Cat, Cub and Wolf, Puppy and Dog, etc.. While often the adult name is used for the babies as well, many times people simply don't put 'adult' or 'fully grown' all the time, they just say, 'I have some kittens and some cats' (some people will though). So, not really no support, but I feel that if they do change it, they should probably change 'hatchling' to baby rather than Hatchling to fit in with the theme of 'baby' and 'adult' instead of the theme of 'hatchling' and 'dragon'

This is more like 'cat' and 'kitten' or 'dog' and 'puppy' than the human parallel you're drawing.

As such, I don't think this needs to be changed.
