Two massive parties that are linked to real-world traditions that FR doesn't follow... and that aren't really universally celebrated in the same way. On the day of Mardi Gras here we mostly just have a pancake tradition, so.

So no support, really.
I wouldn't mind more elaborate costumes and ones reminiscent of those parties, but I wouldn't like them to be directly tied to them. Especially since it's a Christian-derived tradition.

Yes please to Mardi gras themed costumes, no to actual celebration. It's just pancakes here, for one, and it's a real world celebration and we really don't need more than the vague references we already have.

No support. We don't celebrate real-world holidays, festivals, or other celebrations here on FR, Mardi Gras should be no different. I could support a Sornieth festival of some kind, but we already have flight festivals or NotN every month, so it would have to be something different or it would not be any fun at all.

I just wanted the elaborate costumes and was using the two biggest costume holidays besides Halloween I could think of...

I support this, only if we also get costumes for Christmas and Easter and other celebrations/holidays like that.
I don't mean 'Christmas XXX' or 'Santa Suit' but items (apparel and other) that could be used to 'stand in' for these, such as a fur trimmed suit that comes in a variety of colors besides red, white and black.
I feel that if they are going to give 'nods' to some celebrations/holidays, they should be inclusive and do as many as they can (and this includes lesser known ones). This deosn't mean they have to release them at the same time of year as the holiday, or that they have to have an event to celebrate it, just give users more options, both for people who want a dragon to represent that holiday and others who might just like the aesthetics of that particular time of year.

I would like more big fancy elaborate apparel!! Mardi Gras and Carnival are good examples of what kind of costume potential FR could have :) Plus, this sylvan/rose tangle/etc delicate apparel and bulky intimidating armor apparel is starting to feel a bit played out??

@Jemander I just used the mardi gras and carnival as examples you can google. delicate or big bulky armor and gear with little between? we need elaborate non armor.
