So when browsing this thread. I figured, we should have some way to smash together tertiary genes to make them look better, such as Lace and Ringlets. I figured Ringlets would be a primary gene to go with Lace, but they're both tertiary genes. Why not create something where we can mesh two tertiary genes together?
A. Create one who new gene for the combined two genes, such as combine the two names of both genes to create something new, and sell that gene as a tertiary gene (but make it more expensive, since it's two genes meshed.)
B. Create a gene meshing item to mesh two genes. You can buy it in the Market Place for gems, and it'll allow you to take two tertiary genes and mix them together (same color).
C. The whole two tertiary genes could just be applied to dragon with basic primary, and/or secondary.
D. Just create meshings of certain genes such as Lace and Ringlets, call it Lacelets. As some genes would more than likely look awful combined together.
E. Make them fake forth genes, so the dragons can't carry four genes.
I'll be placing good ideas/conclusions/images other users have, here, and quote them.
The dragon could be unbreedable, or simply take on one of the genes given to the dragon (such as the first gene given), or the gene the user wants to breed with to create offspring.
The forth color would be the tertiary color, so both genes are the same color. (Example: Obsidian Basic/Obsidian Basic/

I want a gene mashing item! (There needs to be a way to have 2 tert genes on a derg, there has to be). My only concern is breeding. How would that work?

What would the fourth color even be? The same as the tert? The same as the secondary? The same as a primary? Completely random? No matter what it is, it would ruin existing dragons.
The forth color would be the tertiary color, so both genes are the same color. (Example: Obsidian Basic/Obsidian Basic/
