TOPIC | Expanding Roundsey: Gachapon sibling
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
As the title states, I would love to see Roundsey's family expanded, much like Swipp ended up. I'd like to see a gachapon sibling. Something that gives instant results. The prize pool would not include sprites and such, instead: Common: common familiars MP battle stones 1-3 star apparels Shiny star food (Giant darners etc would be nice too) Unusual: 3-5 star apparels plentiful breed scroll Rare: eliminate 5-shiny star apparel Scattersight vial unhatched egg rarer MP breed scrolls VERY rare: single accent/skin blue print WC scroll Coatl scroll gem MP stuff Think Pinkerton minus the really useless junk, and more desirable stuff. Yes, it's absolutely gambling, but less so than Roundsey in that you always win *something* even if it's not very good. Depending on the odds and the final item pool, entry should be around 5000 treasure.
Could you clarify what is a "gachapon"? I don't think I ever heard it before?
It's those machines outside the grocery store with the little plastic capsules with prizes in them.

So it wouldn't be weekly, but put in money and get stuff? I like it, tho it is similar to grab bags that people - and occasionally flights - sell.
And, thinking about it, it would increase the amount of items on site that are already hard enough to sell (junk apparel, familiars and battle stones).

As long as they don't and never do have any exclusive rewards in them.

Not that you're even suggesting such but I've seen other games do it to distasteful results. *cough* Overwatch *cough* WoW *cough*

I'm okay if people want to sink treasure into what's basically a potentially more lucrative gilded chest roll.

Edit: Also agree with treasure only, no gems allowed.

It's a winning formula! The staff already knows we love them, so why not make one of their own? (It's not like player-run raffles didn't exist before Roundsey.)
And, thinking about it, it would increase the amount of items on site that are already hard enough to sell (junk apparel, familiars and battle stones).
As long as all the junk they offer is hoard-sellable, there shouldn't be too much of a problem with junk flooding the market. The AH price won't drop below the hoardsell price. (Or if it does, AH vultures like me will pick it up for a quick profit.) No gambling with real money, I don't want to see FR banned in other countries for a silly reason like that.

It takes Twelve Years for one Imperial pair to produce a Primal-eyed offspring of a specific sex. Goal-based breeding is dead.
Definitely only existing items. I wont support people having to gamble to get exclusive stuff. But people LOVE opening eggs and chests. Roundsey takes too long and if you don't win anything week after week you just.. stop playing after a while. Instant wins keep you going. I could see myself tossing quite a few coins into a gachapon, and that's exactly what FR needs.

Uuugh support, I'd throw all my treasure at Roundsey's sibling if we got something like this.
I also like the different tiers. There can be different prices for uncommon and rare grab bags. Starting price 5kt for common stuff, increasing by 5kt the rarer the items in the bag get.

It's basically like giving people a gilded chest to open? I don't see how it could harm the economy that much or add too much of an influx of items, especially if players are paying treasure for them.

If this was implemented, I'd like to see some unique items added - we already have chest-exclusive apparel. Though nothing super rare.

Imagine getting an unborn child in a gachapon

But seriously, not only will this make eliminate more easy to get, but i can get a random thing every day/week/whatever
which is just what i need
also slowed down inflation
