@Pheonix404 I doubt they'll do that because the game developers have a special style guide unique to FR to keep all official artwork consistent. However, they do occasionally hold familiar coloring contests that people can win. I wouldn't mind another one of those!

Designing a familiar was a Kickstarter perk, so I highly doubt it will ever be available again.

I wouldn't support making familiars from scratch, and there's a suggestion thread for posting ideas but I totally would support more coloring contests.
