Considering I really want Points specifically for the markings on the face, I'd rather that not happen. And given that a "Galore-style" version would be a complete reversal of what points are (there's no markings on face, tail, or lower limbs so it's not at all like points in real animals) it wouldn't really work as a version of Points anyway.
But it would be really neat if they did this as a gene, so support for Galore's markings getting their own tert gene version.
I'd love to see it with that[i] really subtle[/i] dappling on the body as well, that would be gorgeous.

Like a bunch of spots that are stained or something?
That would be a nice tert, too. I'd like some subtler ones, but I think that would do best as a separate tert. I like the idea of a tertiary that mostly covers the wings and does not touch the majority of the body... hence the wing/horns/throat combo.
Too many primaries do fun things to the feet and I hate covering it up with runes or something. Underbelly and Glimmer also wreck Jaguar, Falcon, and Savannah.

Oh yes i know points looks nothing like galores little gradients, but it could work if it was overhauled? I mean, it's possible. Ghost got an overhaul and it looks pretty different compared to it's original design, which was much more subtle iirc.
It's just a thought though, figured I'd throw it out there since i was reminded of it after reading this suggestion. :>

The way I was thinking, if you took the fantastic example Cadash made, the very lightest shades of blue from that in a speckled sort of line [i]just [/i]down along the spine, the way Galore's tail looks. But I suspect it would be too subtle to be accepted as a gene on it's own which is why I mentioned it. If it was just that spine shading by itself ('cause I wouldn't want it on the feet or face or hands, just along the spine down to the tail) you'd get people screaming about "it's boring" and ugly and "lazy" like they did with firefly. But that example looks pretty good without it anyway.
