A cool idea for a rock/earth breed of dragon (which would abide by the breed rules as far as I'm aware) could be a dragon that uses it's wings to walk like four limbed ones, maybe they could use them to climb as well as fly with smaller forelimbs to show that they are not walked on but are still used.
Vendrus did the most perfect example I could possibly think of.

So you mean a wyvern, right?
or more like this . This is a proto drake from WoW and it has very little forelimbs.

More like the protodrake but with the forelimbs being a bit bigger.

I'm pretty sure this is literally nocturnes - particularly if you look at the hatchies.
I'd rather see a straight-up wyvern ancient.

But if it used only its wings to walk, like stilts or something, that'd be really unique and cool! Maybe the breed could use its limbs completely differently, carrying prey with all four legs or even primarily hunting with its scorpion tail and scythe-like front legs? With scythes as front limbs, using your legs as arms makes sense, and walking on your stilt-wings with the scorpion tail as balance... YES
EIDT: added a thing. Fully aware it is... sub-optimal is a good understatement. Couldn't figure out balanced wing-stilts, so it has palm trees now. No idea where the duck bill came from. Plz help.

@Vendrus since you have way, WAY more experience drawing dragons, any ideas on how I can make the "wings" look stable and strong enough to dynamically move a dragon through the landscape? As a pure ambush predator, it won't need to walk fast. Aware it looks ridiculous.

@cutiepaws
Okay that's quite possibly the single most unique concept I've come across on here. Super fun to draw too! Figured that two points of contact is fairly unstable when stationary, so maybe it uses its tail to balance when still?

Vendrus W O A H that looks amazing! How? In such a short time?!? :O
Seriously. You made the idea 100x better. Thank you!
Of course, I don't think a non-KS-player suggested breed will ever make it into the game in any way or form, but it's still pretty fun to think of the breeds that could exist in a draconic world :3

lisegathe come look at the dumb paint doodle I made and how awesome Vendrus made it!
