Okay this is a bit of an odd suggestion but I think it would be interesting/cool to have dragons occasionally hatch with a form of disability. I know there's the glitch with infertile dragons but it would be cool to have maybe blind dragons or dragons with maybe one wing deformed etc.? I know it would be a lot of work to implement but it would just be cool to have those differences and not have every dragon be able bodied!

Y-ikes no more random chance in breeding nests I beg you. x_x See the link in my sig for more details
I support this as equippable items, like apparel or Coli skins.

It takes Twelve Years for one Imperial pair to produce a Primal-eyed offspring of a specific sex. Goal-based breeding is dead.
No support; I feel like these certain disabilities are easily added enough in the personal lore of one dragon, and I've seen user-made skins and accents that do this too. Adding more things to randomly happen in breeding just makes it more difficult to get the right dragon for yourself. Eyes do enough for us on that part :p
And changing the actual dragon itself would be way too much work, I think. It'd have to take into account all the apparel to redo just for that one disability, and it doesn't seem worth it.

No, not as a random hatch.
This falls into the same 'nope' as random mutations and such, for me and ... I can totally understand why people wouldn't want that occurring, wasting valuable time with breeding cooldowns, especially when they've been working on a project.
It also involves drawing all the baby and adult bases of every breed with a variety of minor changes that would have to be observed for every gene, every apparel item, for something both rare and random and ... nah.
If this is something you definitely want from a game, I suggest you play Lioden where the system is very different. Or Wolvden, when it opens. It's not really suitable for FR.
HOWEVER.
I could get behind it with Ancient breeds..? I guess? There's no apparel issues and the bases are limited in number and it wouldn't need to transfer across between Ancient breeds. It wouldn't be too hard to adjust the bases of the genes, either, especially since they're auto-coloured.
But normal dragons? No. They're already taking 84 years to produce regular breeds on account of the genes, apparel and such. I'd prefer it didn't take 184 years because of dragons with crooked wings or limb deformities.

UK time. Sorry for timezone-related delays in responses. They/Them.
As cool as that would be, dragon art already isn't super representative of the *exact* look of a dragon. No matter their length/weight, they all get the same art. Short chunky coatls have the same art as super long super light coatls. The art is a "generic" snapshot of each dragon, and it's up to the dragon's owner to customize it past that.
(Total support for more accent and skin makers to make accents to show disabilities and canes or mobility aid-type apparel though!)

No support due to feasibility and the entire frustration of non-user controlled RNG breeding (eyes are bad enough).
Support for clothing and accents that either mimic the disabilities themselves or serve as aids for a dragon who might need them (such as crutches, prosthetics, hearing aids...)

Pings are disabled.
If writers are supposed to "show not tell," why are we called "storytellers" and not "storyshow-ers"?

I don’t really support this as a random hatch, but I’d support more ways to customize a dragon to represent disabilities, like apparel or accents. I know accents are mostly user made though, so FR wouldn’t have much control over them unless they made some themselves.

No support for random chance, even for ancients.
For one, this would require redrawing the line art AND genes to make it work (hatch with one wing? the other wing needs whatever parts that the first wing might have covered drawn etc..)
For another, players play this game to escape from real life and I can imagine that some players would be upset to get a hatchling that is disabled and reminds them of real life.
Not every dragon is abled bodied, you just have to put that in your own lore, and please don't force it on other players (which random chance hatching does).
I would support apparel and things like that, that are completely up to the individual user to utilize, but no support for forced disabilities nor on more random chance.
