TOPIC | Edited Hard To Get Breeds
1 2
Edited because I kinda see reason behind not doing imp scrolls:

I think that there should be an event of some kind of maybe for one of the anniversaries or something where everyone gets one or two clanlocked imp coatl/wildclaw breed change and/or a chance at getting an imp breed change through coligrinding. It would give people who love hard to get dragons the chance to make their gen1 dreams come true...

I honestly feel like it is kinda unfair to so many new players...

And maybe do the same with snappers and skydancer and spirals or something...

I feel like it would make a lot of people happy be fun...

And that's coming from a person who honestly isn't even a big fan of imps. I mean I like them, I have a few in my lair even, but they aren't my favorite.

This would be an awesome event

If only the imp scrolls were limited by some kind of event, and not old kickstarter rewards

They can't give out imp scrolls again because ppl paid real money for them, and unlike WCs and coatls, you can be sure of that (the latter you could "just" save up in game, you don't need to buy them with irl currency)

Was it a bad idea to lock a whole breed scroll behind a paywall that isn't even available anymore? Yes. Do they regret it? Probably, but also probably not. Will this change the fact they won't be available anymore in any shape or form? Definitely not.

I imagine "I like something therefore I want that for free" is everyone's dream... However, as a reason why to do anything it's meaningless considering that this reason can apply to literally anything on site. I really want one more banana/steel G1, that would make me really happy, why is that not an option? No support.

Making a lot of people happy does not trump the legal ramifications of reneging on the promise that the rewards given to Kickstarter backers were only available then and would never be generated anew.

Clanlocked breed scrolls mean nothing when you could then breed G2 imps and sell them for profit. That's still adding new imperials to the game. No support.

Fun idea for non imperial scrolls :D

No support for imp scrolls but it could be a fun little event to get some other breed scrolls a little easier!

It's been said above but imp scrolls are a Kickstarter item and staff said they would not be bringing the KS items back. So if they were available this way not only are staff going against their word (and losing a lot of player trust) but they are giving people something everyone else had to pay real money for.

The rest of the breeds are fine and like I said, this could be a fun event once a year or something to get a few a little easier as long as any gifts or drop rates were small so the market isn't flooded.

Kickstarter invested real money into a not-yet-launched game in the hope that they can get enough funding to start the game up. If the game failed those kickstart backers had threw their money down the drain. In return for their support and confidence, staff had promised them exclusive items as a thank you. These include familiars, apparels and the imp scrolls. None of these will ever be available again, that was the promise and the definition of being 'exclusive'.

So, this suggestion is of course a no-no. It goes against their promise, and I suspect it's legally-binding as well, as well as the confidence of general players who aren't even backers. Clan-bound scrolls means nothing, because unless it means the dragons will become clan-bound after change, you can still 'sell' the scrolls, just a bit harder. Also, there's no real incentive to introduce new ways to get more imps into the game, because imp is actually the most abundant breed in game, at least it was true the last time they counted.

Considering that people sell clanlocked scroll usage, this wouldn't stay clanlocked very long, ruining the point.

Imp scrolls are something staff has said won't even appear in Roundsey, even though some other kickstarter items (donated by friends/family of staff, not generated anew) can appear there. So, no, no support. You can get any imp you want, as long as you're not hung up on the generation. It's not like imps are rare or hard to get.
I honestly feel like it is kinda unfair to so many new players...
It's unfair and a disrespect for the quickstarters that spent their money to get one and help the game start out. No support for the return of Imperial scrolls, ever.
