I didn't see a board for this, I'm sorry if it's been addressed.

Why doesn't FR offer upgraded membership? I understand there might not be a lot of benefits to offer right now, but even a few small boosts would be a good reason to pay a few bucks a month to help the site.

Upgrade ideas;
-Bond all Familiars (similar to Feed All) (originally seen here
-Extra Scavange per day
-Autofeeding
-Special Monthly Bonus (maybe unique Flight Holiday item not offered at FF)
-Ad removal
-Special Forum privileges (like colors or something)
-rerolling a Clutch (maybe once a month?)
-*Cosmetics upgrades that do not effect gameplay

These are just things off the top of my head. I am in NO WAY trying to imply there is anything wrong with how the systems run currently or that these ideas are even good, they're just ideas.

Mostly, any of those options would be enough for me to want to upgrade. Help us help the site! :3

Edit: most everyone agrees that ONLY COSMETIC or small conveniences should be part of an upgrade


ADDED: Let me reiterate, as many people seem to be completely ignoring what I have tried very carefully to outline. THE UPGRADE SYSTEM I AM PROPOSING IS TO PROVIDE SMALL CONVENIENCE AND COSMETIC ADDITIONS THAT DO NOT EFFECT GAME PLAY, NOR PROVIDE UPGRADED USERS ANY BENEFITS, PRIVILEGES, OR ADVANTAGES OVER PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT 'PREMIUM'.

I don't think pay-to-win is fun OR fair, but there are small luxuries that won't upset the general gameplay. I hate PtW sites, I'd never pitch it to FR! x3

Well, we already have visible difference between the Kickstarter players (with vista) and later ones (without it), right?

I'm pretty sure many people just haven't heard of the game during Kickstarter, but they want vista. Vista is just cool ^^ I want one too. They can do another layout, of course, not to double the Kickstarter vistas. But that'll be rather nice.

@nika I disagree, it's just a small variation.
I see it as a customization, not a separation. Like wearing a different color shirt or something. It doesn't make you 'better', it's just a difference in appearance. I imagine people who like to RP would love to be able to weed out their posts more quickly? I dunno xD

That being said, I completely respect your thoughts (and everyone's) and really appreciate the comments!

I don't think the listed things should be what an upgrade would get, just some examples that popped into my head. :3

I'd gladly pay for ad removal as it is not only a more profitable value for both the buyer and the seller, it also removes the risk of being infected by malicious ad banners.

I am not okay with in-game currency or convenience functions though.
However, cosmetics for premium account are cool.

Eh, I don't support a lot of those suggestions. Ad removal, sure. Maybe a few cosmetics. But otherwise, no thanks.
