Nambi appeared to Ragnild without cause, stating she was only looking for a safe place to practice her medicine. At first, the clan leader was baffled. This relatively frail looking wildclaw was able to appear at her door step, undetected, wanting to join her clan, and had the gall to make demands while offering nothing in return? Ragnild immediately liked Nambi. It was settled that she could indeed roam the territory, looking for whatever ingredients she may need to practice her craft, so long as she also healed her warriors and created poisons to help take down their enemies. Nambi had no problem doing such. She was thrilled that the territory was so abundant with herbs, saps, and fungi that she could manipulate to either heal or kill. She would leave the lair during the early morning to gather fresh ingredients, then retire to her hollow in the lower levels of the massive tree for the remainder of the day.

Nambi rarely associated with any of the clan members, outside of patching wounds or taking poison requests. She was a curt woman who spoke only when necessary, showing no emotion outside of agitation. She was quick to hurry others out of her work space as soon as they were done. The only person that seemed to have worked their way into her world was Skule. Upon returning from the Scarred Wastelands, Skule contracted a rare, deadly disease that took his flight, sight from his left eye, and nearly his life. For months, Nambi cared for him and was able to stop the damage from spreading. Skule now requires daily maintenance to the gashes and scars on his face and body to keep out infection or further tearing of tissue. It's unknown if their relation was born from guilt, necessity, pity, or obligation. Regardless, the entire clan could see that there was something between the two that they didn't have with anyone else.
