"Come one, come all! Play games, eat fresh from our vendors, and see our main attraction-- the show of a lifetime! They are real folks, dragons!" A man stands at the precipice of what seems like a tumultuous spectacle of lights and dreams. You pay the fare and gain entry to this grandois Circus that has made so many promises to the part of you that wants to stay young.

You look around, finding the big top closer than it seemed just a second ago. It lingers over you like a goliath, you are intimidated by it. If it were alive, you think, its gaze would pierce your very soul. As you enter, a passing vendor offers you popcorn. You decide it best as you don't know how long it will be and are famished. It's strange, the seats stretch for an eternity, you can't even see them on the other side of the tent. However, you are the only one that has seemed to have been interested enough to partake in the show.

A woman walks out, seemingly the head of the show. Something about her is unusual, but she is lovely. "Thank you for coming, we have prepared a real treat for you tonight everyone. I do so hope you enjoy it."

Who is she talking to? You ask yourself. No later than the thought enters your head do you notice the stands are suddenly full of guests cheering wildly as the show begins. You watch as dogs as large as bulls enter the ring, pouncing and growling as men come out on the stage cowering in fear. They appear disheveled and dazed as they look around. You notice their feet are bound in chains.

There is another presence on the stage. You think it a man at first but quickly realize it isn't human. It's impossibly dark, even in the light. You can't quite make out any features. You see it push both men to the ground, one by one, and fill their mouths with a part of itself. A creeping shadow piercing their very being. They quickly contort writhing in pain and transform. You can't quite make out what they become at first, but as they rise back to their feet you see they have changed into dragons. Their nostrils flare and they grunt loudly, obviously still stunned from what just happened. "What is this? What have I walked into?" You say aloud.

Suddenly the crowd turns to you, staring, their eyes piercing daggers into you. You feel a cold hand grip your shoulder. As you turn you see the woman who appeared to announce the show earlier, except now she is different. She has horns and a tail and her eyes are glowing vividly. "Why you walked into my show my dear, and you are the new main act."

Arcane is treating me great so far, thanks for asking! ^^ I joined Light at first because of the aesthetic and the colour makes me happy. And yes, I’ve noticed that the flight is really good at dominance! I can’t wait to switch back :D
