**THIS LAIR HAS LORE**
Once, many moons ago, a tribe of nomadic drakes came to reside beneath the ocean's waves. Small in numbers, they dug their roots into the cavernous depths and built a small but bustling hub of a clan, connected by an intricate tunnel system. Led by a young guardian, their underwater refuge became a haven to nobles, Seers, traders, thieves and warriors.
Their roots tied heavy to those of their nomadic ancestors, it was not uncommon for the clan to wander. But as stirrings of unrest began to rattle the Tidelord's realm, a darkness began to creep into the city. Where prosperity once gathered, mysterious shadows began to leech away at the protective magics that held the city together at the seams, and drakes began to go missing or fall to terrible sickness.
Unable to stop whatever forces were at work in the wake of the Tidelord's absence, the current clan head made the difficult decision to lead the inhabitants of the city to safety elsewhere. Following in the footsteps of their nomadic ancestors, they had no choice but to abandon their homeland, instead finding safety in the icy wastes of the Cloudscape Crags.
