Well, I'd keep the dragons you especially like! I do exalt mine from time to time, particularly during Dominance pushes; gives you a bit of treasure and helps the Nature group too. You can also expand your lair, though it gets expensive.
(having run out of characters, I continue)...I hadn't realized at all that dragons of the same breed could be vastly different in size. You obviously knew that!
I noticed you were interested in relative size of dragons; I know you were suggesting some sort of tool to include it, so this may not be what you'd like, but did you see the post in the Nature Form about this link http://emcall.github.io/dragonsizes/
