PERSONALITY

Maura is not quite standoffish, but not quite sociable either. She's polite to her elders, playful with children, and keeps a wide berth with everyone else.


ABOUT

Maura is a most peculiar traveler. While not one to care for fame or making her presence known, she has become quite distinguishable from the many other travelers who journey along the snaking roads of the Reedcliff Ascent. One's curiosity led to a rather questionable "investigation," and resulted in the following observations that may signal Maura's imminent visit:

The arrival of distinct, but softly clinking wind chimes. Some have likened it to birds chirping.
The arrival of rain, whether a drizzle or a monsoon.
The arrival of faintly glowing buttercups... or were they always there before?

One could say her arrival ushers in the late Spring, wrapping up it's blooms and showering the land before the hot, scorching summers. No one knows how she travels the rest of the year, as she leaves as soon as the next rainfall. With her travels she brings a unique eye and craftsmanship for the very wind chimes that hang from her wings, and so often goes village to village inquiring for work. Many older dragons have even tried their luck with finding worthy suitors in their clans, if only so that Maura could stay a little while longer.
