Despite his appearance, Rednight is a calm dragon who prefers to settle disputes with words as opposed to violence like Lech. However, unlike Lecha, should the need arise, Rednight can certainly use some intricate moves which won't necessarily cause damage, but will confuse his opponents into damaging themselves in some way. Thankfully, normally by the time he arrives, Nightscreech and Lecha herself already have control in the situation and no additional help is needed.

Rednight's duty is also his favourite - Gathering plants. He has a true talent for sniffing out the most delectable of plants and flowers, despite not actually consuming them himself. He will frequently bring the most beautiful flowers back to Botan for her to add to her personal garden. However, despite his love for this job, he doesn't particularly care for the flowers themselves - He adores the heat from the ardent sun that beams down upon him and his team mates in the area, since the lair is perpetually cold.

In an attempt to keep the dragon warm, Starlight gave him a Crimson Reef Snail. It worked surprisingly well, with the pair becoming attached to one another almost instantly. Rednight will always sleep directly beside 'Flamecaller', embracing any accidental bursts of flame that escape his throat atop their Redwood bed. Even when he wakes up in the morning, Rednight will still keep his familiar close by him. Since the other dragons are indifferent to the temperature in the lair, no one minds the sudden burst of heat that continuously dispels from the pair.
