The Past:

The Royal Mews was founded by a need to find the unwanted and create a place of acceptance. Many of the dragons that began the clan were not, to the world, conventionally beautiful. They were unwanted or undesired. So a clan of open arms was born for the lost and wandering.

Pompeii and Queenie began simply, accepting a young undesired prince, Prettyboy, as their first weary undesired dragon. He found true kindness and flourished there under their guidance. A distrusting Mirror dragon soon joined them, a long lost friend of Pompeii's from battles long ago lost and won.

Dark siblings, Lector and Casius, fled their plague clan to find a safer home. Pompeii won over Lector, but Casius never trusted the other. Keeping to her own and keeping everyone away, falling to darkness and doom. Lector stays to try and pull her free, but her new mate happily follows her delusions and keeps everyone at bay as they grow their hoard of dangerous kin.

The displaced royals, bonded forever, Amor and Lovely, came seeking refuge from families that disapproved their cross species affections.

A new pair of royals arrived not long ago, Within and Sextus. Within might have her eyes set on ruling the clan, her cousin simply following her lead blindly.
