B I O G R A P H Y

Glowing blue orbs, filling the night with tiny specks of color. Hooved feet, making barely any sound as the soft grass muffles their footsteps. Branched antlers and elegant wings, a delicate faerie in the dead of night.Of all nature’s creatures, the Wispwillow Perytons are some of the most beautiful and mysterious. No surprise, then, that a shapeshifter would choose them as her preferred form. Though Solveig was born a Wildclaw, she viewed the savagery of dragon society with distaste. She preferred the quiet solitude of the woods, the gentle companionship of the herd, the sound of crickets chirping as the sun set. It was her path to freedom, to escape.

Forsaking the normal diet of her breed, Solveig often chose to consume plants even when in her Wildclaw form. It wasn’t that she hated meat, necessarily; she simply had grown used to living as an herbivore, and it was a difficult habit to break. At first her draconic digestive system rejected the plants, but in time she was able to live off of them almost exclusively. After all, how could she hunt the same creatures that she ran with during the night?

Shapeshifting is a rare power, one not rooted in any particular element. Fearing that others would outcast her, the young Wildclaw kept her special ability secret to all but a select few. In fact, she hid away in the depths of the wild so often that to this day she cannot be found in any official records. Sometimes she felt as though the Peryton was her true self and not the dragon; she was truly a spirit torn in two. Eventually she joined a small clan after they had been decimated by Beastclans, as she felt a strange sense of companionship with the dragons there. Perhaps it was the fact that in the end, they were all alone – and they needed each other.

_BIOGRAPHY_

____Though the youngest of her new clan, she possessed an uncanny wisdom and knowledge of the world. She seemed to know things that no dragon should know – the whispers of the dead, the dreams of others’ sleeping minds, the gleam in the eyes of the gods. There was no possible way she could know such things, and yet she did. She wasn’t quite an oracle or a witch, but she was clearly blessed in some manner. Thus, dragons took to calling her the Crone. It was a vague term that hinted at powers beyond normal understanding. It would have to do.

_BIOGRAPHY_

____Used to living far from dragonkind, it took some time to break the quiet wildclaw out of her shell. She wasn’t sure how to interact with other dragons, and on some days she wondered if she had truly made the right decision. Thankfully, her new clanmates were kind and understanding of her predicament. In time she realized they weren’t just her allies – they were her friends. Though she retained her introverted personality, it was clear that joy was in her heart and she had found peace in her new situation. She was home.
