Bellatrix was a bubbly hatchling, a bundle of energy that seemingly drew the spirits from everyone around; her parents were patient with the excitable nocturne, considering her emotions carefully and taking their time to raise her traditionally. Ironically, she was fickle around those she didn't know due to her seemingly shy nature, and she found it hard to make friends with her peers. She was still notably happy as she bounced into adolescence, and she drew in two other dragons who were just as kind, loyal, and certainly ecstatic; Pies and Nova. The trio hopped along together, causing mischief and minor headaches along their way, but they also gave gifts to their clan and younger ones. Adults knew their names, some thinking fondly of them, others assigning a dislike to them. Bellatrix was the shy one of the group, although she still had unbridled energy to be addressed.

As teens, they flew through the skies, breaking their chains that bound them to the earth; Bellatrix suggested they take a long journey across Sorineth, after all they'd already had slight experience with travelling, Nova and Pies having moved from the Southern Icefield and the Tangled Wood to the Shifting Expanse where Bellatrix had originated from. She'd recently taken up to studying ancient tomes about alchemy, and she wanted to test her newest concoction that would allow them to fly farther than normal; she had each of them take a small swig of the liquid, hopes soaring. They were all in agreement, and with their parents, they all moved to the Windswept Plateau; The potion worked slightly, giving them an extra hour to push onward to their new home.

She bid her parents ado, searching for a new clan to house her and hopefully her eternal companions. She found a small but swiftly growing clan among the harsh winds of the Twisting Crescendo; they accepted her gratefully. Soon after, a handsome imperial, Hemlock, also joined the clan. She melted as soon as her eyes danced upon his scales. He seemed to share a similar interest in her, and soon they were the unbreakable duo, being the fervent lovers they were; she soon became the clan alchemist, her natural skills aiding her. Her entrance was a bit solemn, as the clan alchemist had died of a ravenous virus that seemingly only affected him; many expected a mishap or mixing of potions, other say it was a poisoning, nobody can be sure. To this day, Bellatrix, Pies, and Nova all live together as the model friendship and dragons, only rivaled by the duo Tina and Lina.
