Yumi is an odd dragon. Her face is always decorated with a euphoric, almost fake looking smile. It never fades from her face, leaving behind an ominous feeling wherever she passes. She has a sort of childish aura around her, making her appear harmless to anyone she passes. When you first meet her, she'll act optimistic and friendly, but it's all only a face she puts on.

She's a loner, only trusting and obeying two people- those being Mikaela and ___(future dragon?). Loathing is the closest word that can be used to describe the feeling Yumi has for everyone close to Mika other than ___. She'll often go to extreme measures to make sure Mika trusts her the most, and no one else dares to get as close to Mika as Yumi is. Hurting another dragon is not a problem in the slightest to Yumi if she is given the command to do it. She's equipped to be a professional assassin- replacing her claws with lion fangs and her holy sword "Tenshichi". Describing her as insane would be an understatement. Yumi enjoys killing other dragons, and unlike Hime, she sees exaltation as a dishonor.

Yumi also doesn't believe in a deity. I mean, she believes that they exist but she often questions the deity's morals. The Lightweaver is dissappointed that one of her children has a dislike for her, and so she turned Yumi's eyes into a dull yellow. She left her with just enough elemental power to survive, but Yumi can't use regeneration and can't use magic like most other clanmates. Perhaps the Lightweaver is making an offer to Yumi? She won't ever accept though. Her beliefs won't be changed with the gift of magic.

Yumi was born into a behemothic, wealthy lair to two extremely abusive parents. They didn't see her as a child, someone to love and cherish. No... they saw her as yet another offspring to sell or exalt. All of her siblings were sold quite quickly, but Yumi wouldn't sell. Days have gone by, and she wasn't bought by anyone. Hell, no one even expressed interest in her! Her mother, Cygnavae, told her that she would be exalted soon if she doesn't sell in 5 hours. 5 hours passed- nothing. Her father had already begun preparing his sword in order to exalt her. In Yumi's eyes, being exalted meant being murdered. She had just been born! How inhumane would it be to end such cheerful youth?! She was told that she would serve the Lightweaver in the afterlife, and at this moment Yumi grew dislike towards the deity and the world around her. Having to die a painful, dishonorable death, and then "honorably" serve the deity for the rest of existence? Only someone cruel could request that of her. Yumi sprung off the ground and dug her claws into her father's skin. In shock, he fell to the ground and dropped his sword- leaving Yumi with just enough time to escape. She ran as far as she could, finally finding shelter in an abandoned cave somewhere in the light territory.

Her father, furious with his daughter's "betrayal", commanded a search party to find her and end her right there. The cave provided her with a decent hiding spot, and the search party ran past her. The most difficult part was over, but she still had to survive. In the first few days of her existance in the world, Yumi learned a few rules. 1. In this world, it's kill or be killed. 2. Blood isn't thicker than water. 3. Gods don't care about her. Yumi knew that she would need a weapon to survive. She found a deceased lion near her cave. It probably died of starvation, since she couldn't find any bite or scratch marks. She ripped off it's long, sharp fangs, and glued them onto her small claws.
