Farris was from a clan of the Shrieking Wilds before her arrival to Clan Wicked Wings. Her and Uwain (her mate) were both originally members of the old Adventurer's Club (Sleeping Clouds Hatchery), but after it was retired the two had no idea what to do with themselves. When Uwain had his strange encounter the way seemed set for him, but Farris was still as confused as ever.

A part of her longed to return to the Shrieking Wilds, but her memories of it were vague and far off. Instead, she decided to begin studying her homeland to feel a closer connection to it. It was as she began her studies that she mysteriously gained the Mark of the Gladekeeper. Farris believes it was a nod of approval from her homeland deity, but there is currently no way for her to know.
