The Starksquall Wasteland is a cursed place.

The Wastes are flat and barren, with gnarled trees that cling to the ground. The raging winds and harsh conditions have driven away beast and dragon alike. When the sun sinks below the horizon, the only light to travel by is that which splits the sky.

Although rain rarely falls, a colossal thunderstorm lingers overhead, its winds strong enough to twist the trees forever and sweep away any dragon foolish enough to take flight.

This place used to be inhabited by a single clan, a group of thieves known as the Syndicate. They believed that no one would dare venture into the wasteland to retrieve their stolen treasures.

But now another group of dragons has traveled to the Starksquall Wasteland. These Imperials are a group of adventurers known as the Skyborne, and they're planning to search the entire wasteland for any sign of their long-lost leader.

Hostilities between the two groups are reaching their breaking point; the desperate thieves defending their lair and the determined Imperials searching for an answer to a question the rest of the world has forgotten.

War is on the horizon. A war over one of the most inhospitable stretches of land in all of the Shifting Expanse.
