Moonkeep was once royalty, and she will absolutely not let you forget it. Her poise and grace are left over from her old life, and her prideful nature stems from her once-great position. Of course, all good things must come to an end, and the skydancer was more than bitter when she first moved to Crystalspine Reaches due to financial necessity. In fact, she would have struggled to make it through had she not met her mate, Mutiara. Fortunately, she has since settled in well and currently works as a jeweler.

Short-tempered and sassy, Moonkeep once had everything handed to her on a silver platter. One might even say she was spoiled, and her youth was certainly easy. But into her adolescence, she and her family were faced with financial problems due to a few large and inadvisable purchases. Eventually, their debt grew too large to push off, and they had to move. It was at this point that Moonkeep made her own path for the first time in her life, moving to a small den in the Crystalspine Reach. Her love for fine and shiny things led her to pursue the path of a jeweler, and the work quite suits her. She can often be found setting precious stones and twisting wire to create the pieces she’s so well known for. Meeting her mate was another milestone, in her mind, and they are quite happy with each other. Mutiara showers her with gifts, such as a few of the items she wears.

After settling down, Moonkeep’s personality has mellowed out. She’s much less conceited and snobby, though she still speaks eloquently and holds her head high. Loyal to her friends, the skydancer would never do anything to bring harm to another dragon, no matter how much she dislikes them. She’s generally honest and dislikes lying, save when it keeps someone out of trouble. She tends to talk down to dragons she’s unfamiliar with, especially when they say something she disagrees with. A kind-hearted soul, she tries her best to help out any dragon in need, even if means going out of her way to do so.

Of course, we can’t all be perfect, and Moonkeep certainly isn’t. She has a short temper and is never afraid to speak her mind, especially when angry. She’s known to get into verbal debates and arguments too frequently to count, and she doesn’t calm down easily. She can hold a grudge for years if she’s angry enough. Her cynical nature leads her to have a pessimistic outlook on life, and when in a bad mood makes it her goal to bring everyone around her down as well. Fortunately, once these bad mood pass she returns to her usual, cheerful self.

A huge book nerd, Moonkeep adores reading and learning new things. When not working on new pieces of jewelry to sell, she can be found with her nose buried in a book, learning about the other realms and of new techniques to use in her metalwork.
