ABOUT.
The thing about operating a magical nuclear reactor when you're a variant of a Plague subspecies that is impervious to most forms of radiation is that one tends to get a little careless in waste disposal and sanitation. Not Euthenia, though. She never forgets the dangers associated with her job, and she knows that her clan members could be exposed to dangerous radiation levels if she and her mate, Kydoimos, are not careful. While her personality can be a little grating, she has everyone's interests at heart.

Euthenia rarely comes out from the shell that is her sullen, withdrawn self; her main concerns lie mostly with making sure that the nuclear reactor doesn't explode in hers and Kydoimo's faces, likely taking most of the clan with it and likely infecting the rest.

You should probably forgive the harshness and brusqueness-- she's got a lot on her mind at the moment.

Although her job is stressful, Euthenia does enjoy it. She might not show it much, or at all. In her free time, which is rare and few between, she relaxes with Kydoimos or goes to sit in the peaceful quiet of the library, which is a welcome change from the constant rumbling and clanking of the reactor. The librarian, Hesperus, has long since learned to let her sit in the silence, but he does push a few books he thinks would interest her close. Sometimes they are left unopened, sometimes they''ll be returned faintly more battered and creased than before.

Euthenia has few friends and fewer enemies. Those who stay in her good graces will realise that she's a fairly good listener, even if her advice and solutions to problems often involve a little too much violence than necessary.
