Set amidst a land devoid of rain and barren of greenery, the Maverick Clan would seem a place of hardship and no nonsense personalities...indeed, upon first inspection, roaming dragons would likely get the impression that these dragons are not to be toiled with. With their guards and a fearsome matriarch, how could they be anything other than hardened warriors?

Yet appearances have a tendency to be deceiving, and those of the Maverick Clan are no exception. True to the lightning flights ideology of "changing the world to adapt to them" the Maverick's have set up a home like no other. Dragons of many different flights come and go, yet those who stay tend to be as varied and independent minded as can be expected for a clan of misfits.

Yes, at the end of the day that's what the clan aspires to be- a home for misfits and any dragon wanting a place to feel welcome, feel loved, and feel safe.
