Hathaway
Independent - Sassy - Stubborn Hathaway had always felt like a guardian, big, strong and fierce. Her guardian daydreams had always seemed so vivid in her mind. She could feel the size of her leathery wings and the brute strength of her huge mass. If she closed her eyes she could picture her very own guardian reflection staring back at her and the massive shadow she cast as she flew over the landscape of the emberglow hearth. But she had always been a Coatl, so why did she feel like this   
From a very young age, Hathaway had always been independant and stubborn. She had a hot temper and a short fuse. When other hatchlings wanted to play silly games Hathaway was off alone exploring dark caves. When she became an adult, she could no longer stand being apart of the clan, she went off on her own to be free. After a few years of being alone and doing whatever she felt like whenever she felt like it. She wandered into a snow storm and to get out of the cold, she found a cave on the side of a mountain. She lit a small fire but the heavy wind kept it low. After a few hours of shivering in the firelight, a shadow appeared in the cave entrance. "I saw a glow from your fire, are you okay?" A deep voice said softly. "Yeah, I am fine!" Hathaway replied sharply. "Oh, sorry for interrupting your night" The shadow started to turn and leave when they stopped and said "Um, would you want me to stay and keep you company?" After a few very long seconds, Hathaway let out a very weak "Yes... please" After a few hours of conversation, Hathaway learnt that the shadows name is Ered Luin, He is a stone and teal Tundra dragon. When morning light started to appear and the storm had passed, Hathaway and Ered Luin had bonded to form a very strong friendship. They balanced each other. Her fire. His ice. They travelled together for a few years and soon decided to start a lair together.
