The Forest of Memories April is the cruellest month, breeding Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing Memory and desire, stirring Dull roots with spring rain. The air here is wet and ancient. You hear the sound of the rain falling onto the brook, on each leaf, and falling faintly further into the darker forest. Where did you come from? Why are you here? Everything is familiar, like you've seen all of this before once, perhaps in a dream. |
