If the fragrance of a summer's night took the form of a derg, Cornflower would be its culmination. Breezing through his life with grace and carelessness, Cornflower is equal parts a charming romanticist and foolish. He throws himself into new situations the way a fish would into water, which has resulted in several awkward encounters and more than a few daring escapes - never doing one or the other without leaving a string of heartbroken lovers behind. Whether it's defecting from an army he originally thought would be fun to join, infiltrating a clan of shut-ins, or camping out within the heart of the Floes, nobody can say Cornflower hasn't lived a strange, spontaneous life. He is never seen without his china tea set, one of his most prized possessions in this world. Tea is one of the few comforts he allows himself in his travels, and the satchels attached to his hips are always laden with looseleaf teas. In fact, he often knows that it is time to leave his current location when his stores begin to dip below his comfort level... |

Cornflower's father was once the head of an elite subgroup within his birth clan. The pressure of following in his footsteps convinced him to leave the clan at a very young age, seeking self-satisfaction in a means that wouldn't inherently tie him to his father. He can tell the basic flavor profile of any tea blindfolded, which tends to be a fun party trick.
