The whisper of ashes precedes her. Where one thought they were alone in the room, she is suddenly there, whether welcomed or not to the space.

She grew up around the tombs of Oakrest, an eager apprentice to the Hunters there. But she quickly knew that Oakrest would not be big enough for her, not enough of a challenge. There, the dragons are steeped in the old ways. Tradition is a thing of reverence and love. And while she honors the old ways, she wants to know more about younger places, younger clans. She wants to build history as she watches it unfold, not keep it locked in dusty rooms and crumbling tomes!

Ambition, that's the word for it. If she could cup the world in her claws and blow her breath upon all the land, let all who are living and will live know that their lives have been touched by her, she will be happy. Not that happiness is the only goal to have.

She took a weathered tome from the library there to start her quest, lying and claiming it as her Charge. Spirits in the library have hounded her since, and so she has packed her stolen tome safely in her bags and set forth from Oakrest, seeking a place to study, to experiment, and to grow.
