the moon lustrous upon the
boughs of a forest that blossoms
with miniature stars. Here is
a haven from the broken,
mutilated landscape of the
Starfall Isles, where the
eldritch spirits linger, basking
in pockmarks of ancient magic,
and the chalcedony cliffs
have become a graveyard of
unforgiving gods.
Any dream that lasts too
long becomes a nightmare.
