Gwendolyn
Tinkerer & Scavenger She reaches up to her forehead, a hand missing the pinkie and ring fingers grabbing onto her set of goggles and pulling them over her eyes. She wears a burlap hood and mantle to protect her body from the intense heat of the Sandwastes, her face obscured and hidden by the dark shadows of her hood. Her hair, a dirty blonde, sticks up sporadically. She has a pale scar horizontally under her eyes and through the ridge of her nose, causing her to look like a mischievous crook wearing a mask. When her goggles are removed, one will notice her dead eye, scratched by the sands of the desert into oblivion. In response to having her partial blindness questioned, she smiles manically and waves her hand in front of the right side of her face, hardly ashamed. She prides herself on allowing her enemies to get close to her, then ripping off her goggles in order to make them squirm uncomfortably by seeing her eye. Large leather gloves protect her fingers and hands, and pockets are sewn into her clothes allowing her to keep her trinkets and spare parts. She gravitates heavily towards springs, sprockets, and cogs, having a natural curiosity to deconstruct and reconstruct in order to learn about the inner-workings of mechanical objects. She belabors over her work, and could fix almost anything, fixating over it until she is able to get it working properly. Although a brilliant, tactical and sneaky fighter, unafraid to use dirty fighting maneuvers to get an advantage, she devotes her life and work to that of scavenging and tinkering. She couldn't be more apathetic about clawing her way up hierarchies or ranks. She can be incredibly snarky of humor and remark, rarely keeping her thoughts to herself. Hotheaded and stubborn, she can also be very troublesome to deal with if you haven't earned her trust. Even to her friends, she is always teasing and poking fun at them. Her weakness is having crucial information withheld from her, leaving her inquisitive nature to scream and writhe for answers. Backstory - born in a tribe of desert raiders lore written by: x |
