You are part of the Swarm.
As it prospers, so shall you.
If ever your flesh should fail,
that flesh shall be made anew.
That is my covenant with all in the Swarm.

Cholera is the dedicated acolyte to Vibrionaceae and her gardens of life bearing rot and decay. He will guard her and her glorious work with his life. Glory to the cycle! For life leads to rot, decay, and destruction from which the strongest, most cunning and adaptable survive which leads to a cycle of life unending.

Cholera is an infection of the small intestine by some strains of the bacterium Vibrio cholerae. The classic symptom is large amounts of watery diarrhea that lasts a few days. Vomiting and muscle cramps may also occur. Diarrhea can be so severe that it leads within hours to severe dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. This may result in sunken eyes, cold skin, decreased skin elasticity, and wrinkling of the hands and feet. The dehydration may result in the skin turning bluish. Symptoms start two hours to five days after exposure. Cholera has been nicknamed the "blue death" because a person's skin may turn bluish-gray from extreme loss of fluids.
