You find yourself walking through the Starwood Strand. You can't recall making the decision to wander the area, but you can recall the warnings of those who fell victim to the dangers hidden behind the beauty of the trees. Is that the edge of the woods? Your worries take over you and you find yourself running towards the edge, faster and faster, so close to escaping the unseen dangers.
Your body is hit by what feels like a wall of sound, wracked with an instantaneous vibration and thrum, as if from the bass of a loud, deep noise; too low for you to hear, but still able to be felt within your bones, as if the point of origin was inside you. Just as quickly as it began, it's over, and you stumble onto the ground. Your fall was broken by the thick layer of soft moss covering the ground. You sit up and start to reorient yourself, noticing the glistening of the dull pink crystal forming the walls around you. Before you're able to fully take in your surroundings, however, a large shadow comes over you from behind.
"Greetings. It appears you have stumbled upon this place." Was that a joke? You look up and see a dark Imperial looming over you. His face is impossible to read, but you feel as though asking if his pun was intentional might not be the best option, so you simply push the question to the back of your mind.
"You do not have to stay any longer if you do not wish." He does not elaborate, nor does he gesture to an exit. You look around for one but come up empty. He stares at you, unblinking, for what feels like an eternity. "Then you wish to stay. Explore to your heart's content, you will find whatever you seek. I will appear to assist you if you require it. Speak to those you meet. Your paths will not cross without reason."
By the time you manage to stand up and turn around, he is gone. You did not hear him move, nor do you know where exactly he could have gone. The longer you long at the walls, the more openings and holes and half-walls and formations you see that you instinctively know to hide more rooms (caves?) similar to this one.
