Something's watching over me like sweet serendipity
Venturo was born lucky, and loves to go on adventures. Everything always seems to just go his way, and even when they don't he always gets out of tight spots, intact and often for the better. It was on one of his many adventures that he found himself in the Icefields, and he met the prettiest nocturne he’d ever seen.

Moira at the time was a talented pickpocket, much to her father’s dismay, and had eyes on this prosperous visitor from warmer places. She sized him up as an easy target, but when she slipped a deft claw into his pocket to make off with his coin purse she found her claws held in his grasp gently. “It seems you have stolen something from me… my heart,” he said with melodramatic flare, not even a little upset she’d tried to pick his pocket. Moira couldn’t help but giggle, and they’ve been together ever since.

From then on the pair has been thick as metaphorical thieves, and Venturo brings Moira along on his adventures. The Icefields are always their home though, and they return often, bringing needed supplies and news from abroad. Ven looks up to Cara greatly, and loves hearing tales of her explorations and telling her tales of his own.
