Quote:
There's a place, in my mind,
No one knows, where it hides!
And my fanatasy's flying
There's a castle in the sky!
It's a world, of our past,
Yet the legends, still lasts!
And the king, wears a crown,
But the magic spells are law!
No one knows, where it hides!
And my fanatasy's flying
There's a castle in the sky!
It's a world, of our past,
Yet the legends, still lasts!
And the king, wears a crown,
But the magic spells are law!
Rubie, to Bambi wrote:
I was a dreamer of the starlight
A sleeper of all that’s meant to be
A singer of all the happy endings
A silhouette of sweet, vibrant dreams
I was a dreamer of the starlight
My mind was filled with wonders unseen
And when you said you knew my stories
I knew we were meant to be
You could tell me all the fairytales
I’ve been told not to believe
And when you told me your myths and legends
I knew we would fit like a puzzle piece
And I thought we could stay together
Riding into the sunset like royalty
And live in a castle made of candy
With sugar flowers and icing leaves
And the walls would be made of vanilla
The stairs draped with chocolate, dark and bold
The curtains would be made of cotton candy
With a sleepy hearth keeping out the cold
And I’ve built my world to be perfect
The kind of perfection no one else could dream
A sanctuary for me to retreat to
Where no one would scorn, laugh, or demean
And I invited you to my lovely paradise
So we could dance together under the moon
And bask in a world of no worries
With no fear of sorrow, despair, or doom
But your footsteps were too heavy
You cracked my dainty sugar glass
And under your fiery, blazing gaze
My chocolate stairs did not last
Your words were far too wicked
They cut through my walls like a knife
Turned my curtains into whipped cream foam
Pushed down my towers from their heights
And when you were done with your destruction
When you’d devoured every bit of sweet
You left me in the crumbled remains of
My sugar-spun, crystal dream
So where is my happy ending?
Is there none? - no, I must believe
Perhaps you were just a passing cloud
Before I finally find my prince
And you may not tell me your reason
I can see your resignation in your eyes
But it’s okay, I won’t hate or hurt you
For there’s a reason you had to leave my side
For everything must have a happy ending
Don’t take away my chance to dream
Even though you choose to leave me
I still believe in my fantasy.
