Biography

Between 100kt ~ 200kt
GfF2W8q.png Lore: Beyond Sornieth, not many know what is there. Water, mostly. After that? It could very well be anything. Some say it's where the Shade lives, others say it's just a void. Others think there are other dragons, some other civilization living oblivious to the inhabitants on the other side of their world. Many have tried to learn, but the flight is too far. Most turn back when they realize this, others are lost to the sea as an unwilling offering to the Tidelord. However, there are others, who made the reverse journey. They come to Sornieth, claiming they hail from the desert.

"Desert?" Some laugh, "You don't like like you're from the Highland Scrub. Where do you really come from?"

"Do you not know? Beyond Sornieth, beyond the waters, is our home. It is mostly desert, but there are some forests and other habitable areas you would be familiar with." The others exchange looks, eyes betraying the confusion they all felt but wanting desperately to believe them. However, they were clearly unlike others in Sornieth, so they were welcomed.

Thus, the Desert Dragons became a recognized society. They were given sanctuary within the Lightweaver's domain, a deity so similar to their own Sun Goddess in the desert.

As time went on, they migrated, although most decided to remain in their home in the light. However, they can still be found anywhere the sun shines brightly, listening to the words written in the sunbeams and making poetry more beautiful than expected.

Desert Dragons are exceptional poets, specifically in tune with the Lightweaver and gathering ideas from the words whispered in her marvels of light. They also excel in the roles of scribe, tutor, linguist, negotiator, etc. They often enjoy to laze around, taking advantage of their reflective wings to soak up as much sun as possible.

They are mostly found in Light Flights and clans, but have been spotted in and around the Pillar of the World, believing the closer they can get to the sun, the more they can hear the Lightweaver's words (this has, unfortunately, lead to one or two accidental re-enactments of the Icarus tale).
