Vaeros, born to Carina the pirate and Audacity the...blacksmith, was a very special child. Born blind, he had to learn to see the world a different way then his siblings. While his siblings would venture of to play, Vaeros would stay in the nest and meditate. He did this throughout his childhood, eventually learning to read aura's that the others gave off. Soon he could tell who came to him before they even spoke his name. He could tell when Caspian came in to the room, his aura matched the males need to be in the spotlight, bright and beckoning. It always made Vaeros feel warm and safe. Aegeus, their older brother also had a warm and bright aura, but unlike Caspian it was a softer hue. Aside from his brothers he also learned his parents aura, his mother, like his brothers, had a bright aura but his fathers was dull almost as if someone had but a blanket over it. This had the young coatl worried until he realized he too had the same dull aura. It took him awhile to figure out what it meant.

It was during his adolescent years did he learn about his true abilities, having accidentally bumped into one of his mother crew members and seeing their future. It had left him stunned, seeing things so clearly and in color. It was then that they knew he was much more then a blind child...
