Natiri's backstory is not one of pain, or sadness, or loss; it's rather... normal. She grew up happy, she had a loving family and home, and she left to pursue her dreams at one point. Some dragons think her past sounds too normal- she just laughs every time that happens because it's true. However, she could have never predicted what was to come in her life when she left her home in the enchanted Arcane lands.
She was always a pacifist, keeping herself away from trouble and not enforcing fights or arguments. She just liked to live her life freely without any anger or hate towards anyone. She still does, but her approach is a bit different. Before leaving her clan, her parents asked her kindly to take some fighting lessons in case something happens on her journey and she needs to protect herself. She agreed, despite her nature, and took the lessons. She later found out that she enjoyed fighting... a lot, and took it upon herself to never stop practicing what the masters had taught her. Those lessons became useful, one way or another on her path to greatness. She journeyed above land and sea, searched the entirety of Sornieth for a home of her own, and she finally found it on a strange cliff that looked ancient enough to hold the world's secrets. Here, she learned of curses unknown, and when she finally joined the clan, she became part of one. The curse of infinite life. Time froze for her just like it did for the rest of the clan members, and she now had all the time in the world to practice more and more, until she finally became a master herself. But... a pacifist that fights, you say? Later on in her life, she discovered that dragons were aftaid of her and sometimes avoided her when she walked by or were even afraid to talk to her. Natiri guessed it was because of her mastery on fighting. She decided she liked that since she was able to live peacefully without anyone bothering her. So yes, a pacifist that fights, to answer your question. Natiri not only fights, but trains others how to fight as well. She takes pride in her training skills and she enjoys being part of something greater. Dragons all over Sornieth come to her to train; some because they want to serve their diety and others because they want to become fighters, or even masters. They respect her and follow her every instruction as she gives tips and makes inspirational speeches. Overall, her life isn't that crazy. She lives at peace with herself and everyone around her, and tries to help whenever and wherever she can. Don't trust her, however, to arrive on time for a meeting; she loses track of time pretty easily and can get sidetracked only by seeing a beautiful butterfly fluttering quietly nearby. Beware of the claws. |

>Natiri states the obvious by habit, and doesn't realize it when it happens. Her clanmates giggle when she does it, but she is totally oblivious as to why they are laughing. >She has a massive- an absolutely massive pile of coal hidden in one of the decorated balconies of the cliff. In fact, she has so much coal that for a while coal prices went up because of the limited availability. Her friend Mocha helped her find all that coal... she keeps the source of the coal a secret. >Her daughter Skaya always says that one of the ways someone can get her to fall asleep is by playing with the tuft of her tail. She rarely sleeps more than four hours so she needs help falling asleep from time to time. >Because of the curse, Natiri and the rest of the dragons in the clan will stay forever youthful (young adult). She has a daughter, who had a daughter... who in turn had a daughter... that's Azzah. Yet, both are young adults. So uh, Natiri has great-grandchildren. It's weird for other dragons, but within the clan it's completely normal. >Her favorite combat style is by avoiding every attack until the enemy gets worn out and eventually can't evade her attacks, which are powerful and sneaky.
