BASIC DESCRIPTION.
Peach is a seasonal fall spirit, in charge of putting animals to sleep for the winter to help bring the colder seasons around. She is a fairly powerful mage with use of nature magic, and currently serves in the regional nature spirits' court at Pleiades System. However, before that, she was exiled from her original court in the Nature Flight's territory for disobeying orders. Peach is a happy, vibrant and energetic member of the court, always in a blur of movement, always with somewhere to go and something to do. She is an ebullient whirlwind of energy and cheer, active as the autumn leaves swirling around her, bright as the orange and green coloring of her scales. She is playful, friendly, and a charmer in any situation. Ever the optimist, Peach always leaps at the chance to get to know new people. As such, she's good friends with most of the nature spirits' court, as well as the two gardeners, Psyche and Persephone. Everyone says she and Persephone are two peas in a pod, which is true, but Peach is even more sociable and hyperactive than Persephone. Peach adores animals and loves to spend time out in nature. She still has the job of bringing autumn around, but she's moved to the Starfall Isles, and is always overjoyed to meet the strange eldritch creatures here. |

STORY.
Peach was once a loyal servant of the regional seasonal spirits' court in the Viridian Labyrinth, in charge of putting animals to sleep. The court was- and still is- known for being particularly strict and occasionally cruel in pursuit of their goal to keep the seasons' cycle stable. Despite the reputation of the court she served, Peach was well-known for being a sweet, playful spirit, and most of the local denizens of the area adored her. However, one day, she came up against a dilemma. While going around putting animals to sleep and preparing them for the winter, she came across a bear who didn't want to be put to sleep.
|
The bear and her cubs were the best friends of a sickly, frail hatchling who was expected to die that winter. They, the hatchling, and the hatchling's family pleaded with Peach to not put the bears to sleep, as the bears wanted desperately to be by the hatchling's side in his final days. Peach, split between her duty and her compassion, was horrified. She delayed and stalled, doing all her other jobs first, telling herself she'd come back to the poor hatchling later. The court was incredibly strict with their rules, and if Peach broke that rule, there would be consequences.
|
|
Still, despite Peach's loyalty and determination to obey the rules, she couldn't help it. Her compassion won over and she didn't put the bears to sleep. Additionally, she kept the area where they lived in a summery, vibrant seasonal climate instead of turning it into autumn. Peach dreaded the elders of the seasonal court finding out, as she knew they would eventually. When they did, only a few days later, Peach was called in. After a long period of vicious scolding, Peach was exiled from the court and the Viridian Labyrinth. While Peach was definitely sad, she was also somewhat glad to be free. |
STORY PT 2.
Peach wandered around Sornieth, unsure whether she should continue her job or not. She adored her duties of bringing autumn to the land, but she didn't know where she should go or how she could do it alone. She didn't have the power to create autumn all her own, and no seasonal courts would take a rogue in, especially one exiled from that specific court. She simply spent a while traveling Sornieth, but one day, her fate seemed to turn. While stopping by the Windswept Plateau, Peach heard news about a certain group of nature spirits who could be leaving their court in the Wind Flight and heading to a new haven in the Starfall Isles for magical creatures. Peach, unsure whether they'd allow her to join them directly, followed them to Pleiades System. |
Once near Pleiades System, it was essentially impossible to stay hidden for too long. The point was to be accepted into the clan, after all, but still- Peach had intended to scout out the territory out before meeting the other members of the clan. But, as her luck went, Peach was found out almost immediately. Krystal sensed her right off the bat, and once the other nature spirits focused, they found her easily, as well. Peach was pulled into the haven, and she told everyone her story about how she was an exiled seasonal spirit. She wasn't expecting to be welcomed by the other nature spirits, but to her startled surprise, they were excited to meet another nature spirit from a different court. Delighted, Peach joined their court at Pleiades System. |
