Uh oh, looks like this pretty butterfly has wandered from her lair (ID# 100874 TwistedRae) and has gone on an adventure by herself! Do not exalt or sell, return to home lair if you feel like you're going to do either, and return her when she is ready to breed.

Okima is a restless soul, she's only ever seen the inside of her plague lair, and wants to feel icy winds on her wings, the earth beneath her claws, smell smoke and see the warm light of a fire, to chase shadows and fly with the colors of the wind. She wants a different scene every day, she wants to have new conversations with new dragons, wants to race with spirals and spar with guardians, she wants to spread her horizons.

Most of all, she wants to come home with treasures and trinkets for her family, to see her mate proud of her for all of her traveling, when he cannot follow her, and she wants to give him stories of worlds he is too fearful to walk in.

Okima wants adventure, beautiful places, and to have the shimmer of stars in her eyes.

Okima, doesn't seem like she belongs in such a cold place, she feels as if maybe her time of leaving this place is best, without hurting one's feeling. As she watches the stars go by she notices, Reno watching her from a distinct. At as if he has crush on the beautfuil young lady. He can't take his eyes of her. Okima, knows that she had to be loyal to her mate Amiiko. Okima, turns to face the water, seeing her refection. She wonders, what the life is without having to wonder why her tail is freezing to the ground of the icy wind. She starts to flaps her wings and begins to leave the area again saying goodbye to Reno.

ashamed, she retreats to hide herself in the shadows.... she meets an older guardian who encourages her to continue exploring and move past her sadness. this dark place is not for her. the dragons who live here aren't made sad by the darkness; they thrive here and gain energy from the dark. the guardian thinks the darkness is slowly destroying okima. hopefully, but still weary with sadness, okima sets off yet again.

The desert is unforgiving in a way Okima never imagined. She was almost comfortable with the boneyards and humid pestilence of her homeland-- here, the very air makes her thirsty and sand irritates her footpads. As she approaches the Lightning Farm, she finally finds a lair that opens their doors to her.

Okima meets a Snapper with a gentle soul, and she tells the elder of her journey so far. The Snapper, Rebecca, listens patiently to both her joys and her sorrows, and when Okima falls quiet, Rebecca takes her to the roof of the lair.

The night air is cool against Okima's feathers, and the sky is vividly clear-- as many stars as she could see in the Southern Icefield. The sound of thunder fills her head as lightning dances around her, and she realizes that despite the many hardships she has faced since leaving home, her journey has not been in vain. Sornieth is much larger than she believed when starting out, but her resolve is hardened-- she will still explore as many corners of the world as possible.

In the next few days, the clan's scribes draft her a map of locations she may find interesting, and Rebecca gives her two simple pendants-- one in red, "to match your eyes," and one in white, "for that mate of yours." Once she has restocked on provisions, she bids farewell to the clan and takes to the skies, her purpose once again clear to her.
