shutsumon's Clan

History

Once upon a time there was a pretty blue mirror named Naria who was cast out by the clan of her birth for behaviour unbecoming of their kind. That is she preferred diplomacy to fighting where possible and was happy to befriend those of other dragon species.

The young mirror struggled to survive in the wilds but eventually she made a friend in another outcast. Virian was a fae, but for reasons he never explained he chose to communicate with his voice rather than his crest.

After some discussion the two dragons appealed to the Arcanist for permission to found a clan of their own and thus the Astral Haven was born.

Both founders have changed their form since then - a ritual cutting off of those who rejected them - but they never forget where they came from and the Astral Haven is open to all.

Geography

The Astral Haven started as a small lair but grew rapidly to become a city in its own right. While the clan is large enough to claim space in the Observatory they instead laid claim to an island just off the Focal Point where they could live their lives and where their allies from the Maran beastclan could make their homes in the sheltered coves and not fear attack. Here they could train for the threat they knew was coming.

A threat they now know is imminent with the sudden upreach of the Crystalspine Reaches... an event which also tore their island from it roots and threw it into the air to orbit the Observatory. By some miracle no one was killed among the clan or their Beastclan allies but now they train even more fiercly than before.
