I get them to level 7 or 8 using level 25 dragons. I buy dragons that have exalt bonuses for the day, which is why I have fodder with pistachio or coatls at the moment. Buy em for 7k, exalt em for 14k ish

I usually have cheap fodder dragons at the back of my lair that I level and exalt for profit in the mire to fund the addiction, haha

Yeah, I love collecting generation 1 dragons. Some of them come partially gened when I buy them, but I gene most of them. They can be addictive to collect though

Have pairs with close ranges. Check which genes and breeds are popular. Try to find affiliates. Advertise your hatchery a lot. Go on Find A Dragon to try to sell your dragons
