Personality

A genuine sweetheart- literally no one knows how he's managed to stay in here. Turns out, he's just really good at fighting, and is persistent enough that his enemy usually doesn't want to keep fighting him.
Hopeful to the point where he never gives up. Blue will go to the ends of the earth for the people he cares about.
An amiable lad who just wants to befriend everyone he meets. He tries to see the best in everybody, no matter how awful they are. He does have his limits, though, especially for creatures like Nightmare, but he refuses to kill just as a rule of thumb.
Basically, he's baby. He still hits like a truck, though.

History
The first time his alternates saw Blue cry, they thought he was weak. But he didn't come from a universe where hiding your emotions, or taking them out on others was normal. He had never been taught to bottle things up, had never needed to hide how he felt, or considered harming others because of it. So when he found that this was the norm for his variants, he cried for them, too.

Since he arrived before Ink and Dream, for a while, it was just him, Red, and Sans. They told him very little, but Blue could tell from context clues- he was still a version of them, after all- that there was no way of going back home. It killed him in that moment, but it didn't keep him down. That was the second time he cried.

The third time, his tears took on a different tune; ones of happiness, because his friends had joined him. He didn't feel oh so alienated with them as he did with Red and Sans, and for once he was the one with the information, which he gladly shared. They were the kick he needed.

The fourth time Blue cried was the last. Raw, determined tears, because he was fighting for everything he was, and everything he cared about. He wanted to go home, and he knew he could get there, so long as he had his friends to help. So long as he knew Papyrus was still out there, waiting for him. He wouldn't let anything get him down.

This, too, shall pass.

About
Often mistaken for being immature, Blue is more than aware of his circumstances. He doesn't have the scientific background like Sans or Red, but he is by no means an idiot. He is often more emotionally intelligent and aware than his alternates, and his endless optimism makes it incredibly hard to hurt his morale. He's confident, honest, and a hard worker, and those make for a strong foundation.

Of course he misses his brother- but he knows Papy wouldn't want him to be miserable all day either. So he focuses on being proactive, and working with his companions Ink and Dream to keep Nightmare from getting out of hand. He tends to provide an endless supply of positivity to Dream, and can summon bone attacks, blasters, and his signature weapon, a warhammer, to deal massive blows if need be. And compared to his alternates, Blue has a staggering amount of hit points. He's a tank, able to handle plenty of blows where other variants would crumble to dust.

Trivia

The absolute madlad managed to befriend Error. No one knows how he did it, or how he hasn’t been dusted yet. In truth, he's just incredibly bubbly and it's hard to not be his friend- like one would have to make an active effort to avoid it.
Loves to cook, but he's terrible at it. If he could get proper lessons he would likely improve, but no one has the heart to tell him his food is awful in the first place. He still misses having easily accessible ingredients for his world-famous tacos, but he's slowly figuring out Sornieth substitutes. Now if only he stopped using his friends as guinea pigs to taste test them...
Though he acts childish at times, Blue is surprisingly mature. He can handle conflict in an effective and healthy way, keeping the peace when needed and doling out punishment only when no other option remains.
