• Here's what's up in the Rainbow Lands...


~ 7/24/21: Ooh! The new Flaunt and Flare genes are soooo beautiful! I will definitely be using some of these for the Kaleidoscopes...



~ 7/23/21: Artemis and Sterling's first clutch hatched today, and unfortunately all three babies were duds, so looks like it's back to the nest for these two!

The trainees are doing well, and are now halfway to Level 11. I'm definitely enjoying the current venue where they're training, the Sandswept Delta. The Serthis there drop items necessary for Poison/Toxin gene synthesis at Baldwin!



~ 7/16/21: Artemis and Sterling, the two dragons chosen to try and hatch King Olivier, have laid their first nest today! Is the future mate of our magnificent Aventurine hidden within one of their eggs, or will he be born from a future clutch? We shall see!

Also, Allorancoro now has a mate--today I was able to find a lovely lady for him named Grelageara. Now, all three trainees have mates! Once the trainees have their tertiary genes, I will bring one of their mates out of hibernation and start gradually gening them.



~ 7/10/21: The trainees are now Level 10, and have their secondary genes! Hooray!



~ 7/8/21: Things have been going well here in Kaleidoscope Kingdom! Our first three trainees are almost Level 10, and they'll be getting their secondary genes soon. I also recently found a few new G1s for the project. And, I am currently fixing up my clan info page and sales page to be more concise.



~ 6/27/21: Happy Brightshine Jubilee! (So excited for that awesome Capricorn familiar...) Guess what--I found a great pair of dragons, Sterling and Artemis, who are going to be breeding together in an effort to hatch King Olivier!



~ 6/25/21: This Clan Information page is almost done being renovated! Also, in big news I will be kicking off a search for a mate for Aventurine, with her same colors and genes...Olivier, I think his name will be.



~ 6/24/21: The first three Kaleidoscope trainees are now Level 8, and have their Primary Genes!



~ 6/17/21: I've just got to say, I love the new Obelisk breed. Kaleidescopes will now officially be both Pearlcatchers and Obelisks. Pearl and Stone, Unicorn and Lion...I like it!



~ 6/8/21: Happy 8th anniversary to FR! I'm really excited about the new Dustcarve Dig community mission.

Things are going well with the clan. Our three trainees are now at Level 7.

The Familiar Farmers have been busy nesting, and have just hatched their second batch of eggs. I have also found a few new Gen 1 dragons to join the clan, as future Kaleidoscopes.



~ 5/29/21: Our trio of trainees are now at Level 5! They are now roaring through the Woodland Path...



~ 5/28/21: Our trainees (Allorancoro, Nala and Aramacao) have now become Pearlcatchers, and they have had their first battles in the Coliseum, reaching level 2 today!



~ 5/26/21: All 100 Familiar Farmers are now in place, and today five pairs of them will get the chance to breed!

Once the resulting hatchlings have grown up, most of them will go to the Auction House to help fund the clan's Kaleidoscope training efforts (breed changing and gening a bunch of G1s is not going to be cheap!).

As for the Kaleidoscopes themselves, next weekend our first three trainees will begin their adventure. They will be transformed into Pearlcatchers and go to the Coliseum's Training Fields...



~ 5/24/21: Dragon sales are going well, and now I only have 10 Familiar Farmers left to move from the Den to the Lair!

I have now also selected the third Kaleidoscope trainee to start off the clan's new journey: Aramacao! He will be a progenitor for one of my favorite color combos in the game, Vermilion/Cerulean with a purple tertiary.



~ 5/22/21: All of the spare dragons from my Hibernal Den are now moved out and in the process of being sold!

As they continue to find new homes and open up more space in my lair, I will be continuing to move the remaining Familiar Farmers from the Den to their tab in the Lair until all 100 Farmers are finally in place.

Once the Familiar Farm is all set up, I will choose five lucky pairs to start nesting! The resulting offspring will mostly be sold when they mature, but I may keep a few of my favorites as replacement Farmers.

I will also soon be going on the search for my third Kaleidoscope trainee! The two other trainees I've selected so far, Allorancoro and Nala, are raring to go...



~ 5/16/21: It took a few days, but I finally have all of the dragons in my main lair sorted out.

Next, I will be selling a whole bunch of dragons to make way for the next phase of my lair reorganization: Waking the sleepers!

That's right-- as soon as I clear up more lair space, I will be waking up pretty much all of my dragons stored in the Hibernal Den to sort them, too.



~ 5/12/21: After another "vacation" away from the game, I have decided to return with a new, simpler, more focused approach to my lair.

My last set of projects had me feeling overwhelmed and burnt-out. I will still be collecting, raising and breeding colorful dragons, but instead of doing it en masse with just any dragons with the right colors, I will now be starting off with a few first-gen dragons at a time, gradually developing my very own lineages of colorful Pearlcatchers.

The next few days, weeks, and months will be spent renovating my lair and finding my first three dragons to raise and train. Here's to a promising new start!
