You endure the treacherous hike, meandering along the river's edge. Trapped between regions, you've no choice but to continue onward -- for you've not come so far to turn back now. In the distance, a scarce 10 meters ahead, the roar of the waterfall is deafening. The clamor had begun some miles back, but you certainly hadn't expected it to become so very loud so very quickly.

You waste no time trudging forth, eye squinted against the glare of the sun within the water's cerulean depths. And as you come to the edge of the cliff, an expanse of turquoise and sapphire and teal greet you. The sun's rays reflect brilliantly off the surface of the water below, and as you watch, the life-granting fluid laps against massive apertures, spilling over in places.

Dragons have made a home here, and amongst them, the closest to the cliff face, a female Guardian patrolling her Lair spots you. She's soaring up -- towards you -- on azure wings. You scramble back, and as she lands, she extends her long neck. If the look contained in her baby blues were not enough to warn you, then the earsplitting roar certainly would do.

"Dormammu's Clan," she begins, "Home to the forgotten and the abandoned. My mistress welcomes both dragons and hatchlings who have been displaced and will exalt those who are worthy to work beneath his Lordship." Marrok sniffs in obvious distaste of your presence. "Unless you have need her, I suggest you find another Clan to trouble." She turns to lumber away, and as her wings spread for flight, she casts a glance over her shoulder. A small smirk adorns her bony visage. "Be happy that you found me instead of one of my brothers or sisters. Humans give me indigestion."

And with that, she gives a single powerful beat of her wings that carries her over the cliff edge and back to her Clan.

Dormammu's Clan has burrowed into the sheer cliff face of the Sunbeam Ruins in order to better hide their Lair and the precious, thriving life that dwells within. They have a rich, flourishing culture that is unlike any other in their realm, and while they strive forward to both do and simply be more, Dormammu's Clan will never forget their roots and ancestors.

In the profile of each dragon, you will find the following:
۞ Royalty - Dragons directly connected to the Mistress/Master of the clan will always carry the lace tertiary gene. Throughout their history, it has proven to be the only gene that perseveres. Dragons related to royalty can also be seen wearing citrine jewels.
۞ Clan Liason - There may only be one Clan Liason. As well providing direct counsel to the leader(s), the Clan Liason also directly oversees all contact with other Clans.
۞ Royal Guard - These dragons work deep within the shadows, sourcing information for their leaders and carrying out missions that may very well affect Inter-Clan politics. They also serve as the Clan leaders' personal bodyguard.
۞ Healers - Clean Healers can be spotted donning white linen wraps as a sign of their purity. Their gift of healing, knowledge of herbs, and unbiased kindness has earned them a special place alongside the leader(s) of their Clan.
۞ Soldiers - Clan Soldiers can be found wearing marron wraps. These dragons are hand-selected by their leader(s) to serve in the Clan's army.
۞ Land/Air Guards - These dragons can be found wearing brown wraps. They are tasked with patrolling both the land around the Clan and the airspace above it.
۞ Aquatic Guards - These dragons don navy wraps. They are tasked with patrolling the sea that surrounds their Clan.
۞ Hunters/Scavengers - These dragons can be spotted wearing forest green wraps. They are responsible for hunting enough food to feed the Clan as well as scavenging materials and items necessary for crafting.
۞ Merchants - These dragons are responsible for trading with other clans to bring new and rare items to the lair.
۞ Den Mother - This individual is tasked with the day to day monitoring of hatchlings so that their parents might complete theirdaily duties without worrying.
۞ Hatchlings - Hatchlings are the very future of the Clan. They are protected with a ferocity unmatched. Hatchlings choose their desired career once they have become full dragons.
