Lux never dreamed of being in the Royal Palace of the Night Kingdom, let alone any kingdom at all. She was found as a young dragonette in the palace gardens with no recollection of getting there. BlackPearl, who was a dragonette at the time, begged her mother to let Lux stay with them. Over time, Pearl and Lux became inseparable sisters. As they grew older (Teens) and started to get crushes on other dragons, the Heir Trials were being held. Lux started the idea between the sisters that they could join the trials. These trials could be their ticket to a better life! They scratched their names into the list of dragons competing in the trials. This is when Lux first met Kishi. It was love at first sight. For her at least. From that moment, she tried to get as close as she could to Kishi, not realizing that the closer she got to Kishi, the farther she wandered from her adopted sister. When the first of 5 trials was announced as a chess competiton, she was shocked. How could a kingdom decide their future rules on games of chess?
